What is a Labor Law Posting?

Under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), employers are required to post certain labor notices in the workplace in a prominent location. The requirements for posting can vary according to the size of the business and the nature of the labor posting. Examples of postings include minimum wage law, child labor laws, or the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA).

The U.S. Department of Labor has an online resource for determining local poster requirements.
