What is Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBIT)?

The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, or MBIT, is a personality assessment using the theories of CG Jung that gives perspective into what sort of a person is taking the test. The test asks questions that lead into one of 16 personalities, which are various combinations of 4 distinct personality traits. The MBIT is often used by employers to gauge the personality of applicants, in order to determine whether or not they would be a good fit for the company. The MBIT is also used to help people understand what type of career they may be best suited for.
