What is Indirect Compensation?

Indirect Compensation is the package of non-monetary benefits that an employer provides to an employee. These benefits include healthcare, vacation and sick time, leave benefits, overtime, and material support such as phones, company car, lodging, or computer equipment.

The value of indirect compensation for an employer is to reward and compensate an employee for performance, retention, and incentive.
